The Excellence in La Rioja recognitions and Awards recognize the progress made in the implementation, development and improvement of management systems based on excellence.
The work of the Fuenmayor winery has been recognized with the “Rioja Excellence in ADER Clients” award. In the same way, the Authorities have highlighted the way of combining tradition and modernity since its inception in 1998.
Tradition, since it maintains a vertical pressing system and uses Tempranillo as the base variety of its wines; and on the other, modernity, because they use the latest technologies in the production system, as well as in the air conditioning and humidification processes of both the barrels and bottle racks.
The gala held at the La Fombera Technological Center on December 19, was organized by the Government of La Rioja and was attended by the President of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, José Ignacio Ceniceros as well as the President of the Parliament of La Rioja, Ana Lourdes González. The main objective of these awards is to stimulate companies in the development of the EFQM model of excellence
David Saez de Ojer, General Director of Bodegas Altanza received the award from the hand of Leonor González Menorca, Minister of Economic Development and Innovation, who congratulated the other award-winning companies.
