Altanza Club, the flagship wine from Altanza, scores 96pts at DECANTER WWA 2023, among the 7 highest-scoring wines from Rioja.
Altanza Club, a high expresión Reserva, is a very versatile wine that defines the style of the winery, made with 100% Tempranillo grapes, aged in new oak French for 18 months plus 4 months in French oak (Allier) cask. It ‘s a powerful wine, of a great aromatic complexity and an expressive mouthfeel.
During this last edition of the DECANTER WWA 2023 more than 18.500 wines from 57 different countries were blind tasted. The jury was conformed by 200 wine experts, 16 Masters Sommeliers and 5 Masters of Wine, from 30 countries from all around the globe. So getting 96 pts and a Gold Medal has been a great honor for Altanza.
